For more than 15 years, we've been dedicated to fostering a love for equestrian sports and the horses that make them possible in the Northern Virginia area. Specializing in the hunter/jumper discipline, we offer horseback riding lessons for students ranging from beginners to advanced riders. Our beginner horseback riding lessons are designed to make the sport accessible to everyone.

Conveniently located near every major Northern Virginia population center, Morning Side Stables has proudly called the Historic Manassas Battlefield home for over a decade. This unique riding academy is committed to providing a welcoming environment for all riders and their families. We also offer horseback riding camps that emphasize skill development and enjoyment in a supportive setting. With our low pricing and a focus on education, we ensure that Northern Virginia horseback riding lessons are within reach for all who wish to explore this wonderful sport.

Getting Going at Morning Side - How it Works

Come for a visit or schedule an evaluation ride!

Getting started at Morningside Stables is easy and relaxed—just like your experience will be as part of our beginner horseback riding lessons. The barn is open for you to come visit and see what it is all about—just schedule a time to come by when we can show you around!

Entry into our horseback riding camps begins with an introductory evaluation lesson.

There's no need to write a check for a big block of lessons like some other barns; we offer a special introductory rate for the first lesson. If you find us to be a fit, we go week to week from there!
